Bristeeri Technologies started out in 2006 as a Computer Renaissance operated by Brian Jefferson, a local Columbia, SC business man. Initially selling computer equipment and cables, Brian began receiving more and more requests for computer repair and small business IT solutions. He envisioned his business helping residents of Columbia save money while getting the services they needed for their computers and laptops. Taking the experience and knowledge as a business owner and network engineer, he decided to step away from Computer Renaissance and start Bristeeri Technologies. His traditional retailer operation quickly expanded to include software management and IT support solutions, and the rest as they say is history.

Today, Bristeeri Tech’s solutions include Managed Services for business and residential customers in the Midlands, voice over IP and even home network security plans that include firewalls to protect your IoT devices. With all their experience, Brian and the service team know they can’t just hide in the shop typing and tinkering all day, they have to get out and help everyone from Blythewood to West Columbia understand how to keep their data and devices safe from online predators. For this reason we are proud to support the Department of Homeland Security and the FTC as a Stay Safe Online and NCSAM Champion, giving out free resources and speaking to organizations about IT security. “Bristeeri” is word created by Brian’s parents, Paul and Nancy Jefferson. “Bristeeri” is a combination of the first three letters of the Jefferson Siblings (Brian, Steve, and Erin). Because family is so important to Brian, he wanted to have a name that reflected that fact. 

Here at Bristeeri Technologies, we believe that true experts never stop learning. This is especially true in technology, where changes seem to happen overnight.
